I haven’t been around here lately and I am glad you have noticed! Anyway, I just haven’t felt like there is too much that is worthy of me posting on. I know there are a ton of people out there in the blog world that will simply put up links to others blogs or regurgitate some quotes that they read in a book when there is nothing to post just so they can push that publish button. I really don’t want to put you through that just so I can have a post.
Anyway, things have also been pretty busy lately. All of my normal youth min responsibilities plus I spoke in the adult service the past two weeks. Both weeks went really well I thought except for a minor glitch (it didn’t play!) with a video during one service this past week, at least I am not alone on tech probs!
I also know that I stepped on some people’s toes with the message that I brought this past Sunday because I got a couple anonymous notes about it which quickly got “filed” and I am not going to dignify the notes by repeating their content here but I will say that if these folks would have simply written their name down then we could have been getting together to talk through some of this stuff. My assumption is that these folks have some extra baggage that they are carrying from somewhere and it is causing a lot of anger in their heart and because of it they are somehow not able to hear the real message.
Other stuff I am up to:
- My Grandma is staying with me and Sarah - means lots of extra treats around the house!
- Heading out to my parent’s house for Thanksgiving dinner, going to be fun to hang out with my bro and his girlfriend.
- Gotta get crackin’ on my reading schedule! Working on Going All The Way and Be Our Guest.
