Kiva

I have debated in my mind as to whether or not I should post on this but I have decided to, not because I want you to think that I am cool for doing this but because I want to encourage you to step out and actually do something for the Kingdom.

I learned about Kiva.org and the concept of micro-financing quite a while ago but didn’t do anything about it. This month I decided to take the step of action. My plan is thatI have budgeted $X each month to add to my Kiva account. Then I choose an entrepreneur somewhere in the world to loan my money to in a no interest loan. When the money is paid back according to the terms of the loan my original investment is then credited back to my account. I can either withdraw the money or reinvest it with another small business owner in a third world country. If I continue to reinvest at the end of the year I will have $12X to invest in one or many people.
